Bahariya is the practical gateway to a striking Western Desert sequence: the dark hills of the Black Desert, pale chalk formations in the White Desert, and long horizons between them.
A supported overnight camp can be included as a sample arrangement, subject to the chosen operator, permits, weather, road and operating conditions. We do not promise a particular camp or level of comfort until it is confirmed in your proposal.

The calendar, honestly.
Peak months are what most guidebooks recommend. Shoulder months are our favourites — warmer light, thinner crowds, and better rates. Warm months are possible but demand a slower pace.

A 4x4 route can link Bahariya's dark ridges with the White Desert's chalk formations, subject to current permits, supplier confirmation and operating conditions.
A supported night
A simple supported overnight camp may be proposed. The operator, equipment, meals and exact site are confirmed for your dates rather than assumed.
Desert light
Time the route around late light and sunrise where conditions allow, with no claim to a fixed camp or private concession.
